Biografie

Malte Krüger ist seit 2011 Professor an der TH Aschaffenburg. Er war als Wissenschaftler an der Banco de España, der University of Western Ontario, dem Institute of Prospective Technological Studies (Sevilla) und der Universität Durham tätig. Es folgten Lehrtätigkeiten am KIT Karlsruhe und der TH Frankfurt. Mehrere Jahre war er für PaySys Consultancy tätig, eine Unternehmensberatung im Bereich Kartenzahlungen. Malte Krüger hat vielfach in nationalen und internationalen Zeitschriften über den Zahlungsverkehr, geldpolitische Themen und monetäre Außenwirtschaft veröffentlicht und an mehreren Forschungsprojekten zum Thema „Zahlungsverkehr“ mitgewirkt. Zur Zeit bearbeitet er zusammen mit Prof. Franz Seitz (OTH Weiden) ein Projekt für die Deutsche Bundesbank zu den Kosten und Nutzen von baren und unbaren Zahlungsinstrumenten.
